This project was co-developed with students, as part of the module Adult education for activism and human rights, University of Belgrade in 2021.
We used the practice based approach, as part of the artistic research methodologies, examining capacities of investigating public spaces through different senses, walking methodologies, digital mapping and sensorial and digital ethnography.
Students took the same methodology for the research process with their participants, as part of their final assignment.
The process was described through the chapter "Practice-based research as an approach to curriculum in higher education" by Maja Maksimovic and Jelena Aleksic and will be published in Temas, contextos e desafios metodológicos da investigação qualitativa em educação, Universidade de Coimbra, 2021.

Digital mapping of the practice based research with students.

Digital sketch of the research process, and mapping of the various agents involved.
These include students engagement in mapping the differences between public spaces and places, working with diverse material and social conditions during the COVID 19 pandemic and multiple practices that involved walking, sensory ethnography, and videography as a methodology.
